what does rosso smell like?
fresh fig first — soft and a little sweet — with green herbal leaves over the top and creamy woods underneath. it's warm without being heavy, the feeling of a mediterranean morning. it suits living rooms, kitchens and hallways.
how big is the mini?
120ml. the bottle stands 120mm tall and 50mm square, with a deep red marble stopper on top. small enough for a bathroom shelf, a bedside table or a downstairs loo.
which size should i choose?
the mini is a first try of the scent or a small-room piece, the large is the everyday size for most rooms, and the extra large is built for open-plan spaces and hallways with high ceilings — it reads as an object in its own right.
how do i set the reeds up?
put all the reeds in, leave them an hour or two to draw the oil up, then turn them over once. after that, flip them every week or two to refresh the scent — that's all it needs.
wash your hands after handling the reeds, and don't put used reeds back in the bottle.
can i make it stronger, or make it last longer?
yes — it's controlled by the reeds. more reeds means a stronger scent that gets through the oil faster; fewer reeds means something subtler that lasts longer. start with about half and add more if you want more.
where's the best place to put it?
somewhere with a little air movement — a hallway, a landing, near a doorway — rather than a still corner. keep it out of direct sunlight and away from radiators, which will burn through the oil quickly.
stand it on a coaster or tray. fragrance oil can mark wood, painted surfaces and polished stone if it drips or is knocked.
is it safe around children and pets?
keep it out of reach of children and animals, and don't put it somewhere it can be knocked over. the oil is an irritant if it's swallowed, or if it gets on skin or in eyes.
can i return it if i don't like the scent?
only if it's still sealed. once a diffuser has been opened we can't take it back for hygiene and safety reasons, unless it's faulty. unopened, you have 14 days from delivery — see make a return.
